Primary Level at Vidhya Niketan
The Primary education at our school forms the bedrock of development of our students, helping them observe, explore and investigate with creativity.
With English being the medium of instruction, Tamil and Hindi being the vernacular languages taught in the school, the students acquire the CBSE curriculum through integrated lesson plans, hands-on experience and guided research learning. This holistic approach to early education introduces children to ideas and experiences that will help them become responsible and active participants in the society.
Special Education
VNPS takes special interest and utmost care in identifying children with learning difficulties in class and accordingly referring them to the Special Education Teacher to conduct remedial classes for those students separately. This alternative provision, practised at our school, educates students in a way that accommodates their individual differences and special needs. The school has shown a hugely commendable result in helping students with special needs, achieve a higher level of self-sufficiency and progress in their performance at school, which may not have been fruitful if they were only given access to a typical classroom education.

In order to foster a healthy competitive spirit and to create a sense of belonging, all students are divided into four houses. Each house will have a teacher and student representatives. All extra-curricular activities will be focus of competition. Results of all such competitions will be graded and recorded.
